The Colleges For Change Program is grant funded by the New York State Department of Health Tobacco Control Program. Seven Colleges For Change grants have been funded statewide.

The grant has been designed to engage young leaders to work on and off college campuses to limit where and how tobacco products are promoted, advertised and sold, and to advance local and statewide policies to create communities that support and reinforce tobacco-free norms.

Colleges For Change Programs focus efforts specifically on those aspects of the community and college environments that most influence tobacco use among young adults.
